I had a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow and eyelash lamination. The girls did a nice job, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. For the manicure and pedicure, the results were beautiful, but small details made a difference. They didn’t clean under my nails after filing (I do not mean the cuticle themselves but the dust that collects underneath the nail after filing), and I had to ask for cuticle oil to be applied. To me, these are basic steps for this type of service and really affect the overall experience. My lashes and eyebrows also turned out nicely, but small issues stood out. Even though we used Google Translate, I clearly said I didn’t want my eyelashes dyed black — just dark brown — because black looks too harsh on my very light features. Right now, it seems like she didn’t put much effort into mixing a tint that would have worked well for my coloring, so they came out very black and give a look that isn’t “me”. It would have been better if she had confirmed the tint before starting, especially since I couldn’t open my eyes during the procedure. For my eyebrows, while I didn’t book a shaping service, I think it would have been better practice to remove at least a few stray hairs after the lamination rather than leaving them. Overall, the service was not bad but not great. With a bit more attention to detail and communication, this could be a much better experience.
