What is a deposit and when is it deducted?
A deposit is an upfront amount that secures your appointment — it's deducted from the total when you visit.
Some salons require a deposit when you book. This guarantees your slot and protects them against no-shows.
How much is the deposit?
- Set by the salon.
- Usually 20–50% of the service price.
- Sometimes a flat amount (e.g. 100 TL).
- Not every service requires one.
When is it paid?
During step 4: confirm and pay of the booking flow. Without the deposit, the booking isn't created.
Deducted from your total
When you receive the service, the deposit is subtracted from the bill. You don't pay extra:
- Service: 600 TL
- Deposit (paid up front): 200 TL
- Pay at the salon: 400 TL
Cancellation policy
- Within the free-cancel window: deposit is refunded.
- Late cancel: deposit is usually non-refundable (up to the salon's policy).
- No-show: full deposit forfeited.
The exact terms appear on the salon's detail page under Cancellation Policy.
When does the refund arrive?
A refundable deposit is auto-initiated on cancel. Depending on your bank, it lands in 1–7 business days.
Full pre-payment instead
Some salons prefer full pre-payment instead of a deposit — in that case the entire service is paid up front, and you pay nothing at the salon.
