What is a salon membership, and how do I cancel it?

Memberships are monthly or yearly subscriptions to a salon that unlock recurring perks. Manage active memberships from your profile and turn off renewal anytime.

A membership is a monthly or yearly subscription to a single salon that gives you recurring perks. Typical benefits: discounts on specific services, one free monthly session, priority bookings, early access to promotions.

Join a membership

  1. On the salon's detail page, open the Memberships tab.
  2. Tap a plan; the perks included are listed.
  3. Tap Join.
  4. Pick a saved card (it will be charged automatically each cycle).
  5. Complete the 3D Secure step.

Your membership becomes active immediately and the perks are applied automatically to bookings.

See your active memberships

Go to Profile → My Memberships. For each active membership you'll see:

  • Salon name, plan name
  • Next charge date and amount
  • Charge day (e.g. the 15th of each month)
  • Summary of active perks

Cancel renewal (leave the membership)

Tap Turn Off Renewal on the membership card. The membership stays active until the end of the current period — you are not refunded, but you are not charged for the next period.

Example: you joined on May 15. You turn off renewal on June 1. No charge happens on June 15 and the membership ends on the same date.

If a charge fails

If your card can't be charged (insufficient funds, expired card, etc.):

  1. The membership is put on a 3-day grace period — perks are paused but the plan is not cancelled.
  2. The system retries the charge daily for 3 days.
  3. If all retries fail, the membership is auto-cancelled and you get an email + push notification.

To update your card details, go to Profile → Payment Methods.

Refunds

General rule: perks are delivered upfront for the period, so past-period refunds are not granted. For edge cases, call the salon or email destek@glossgo.com.
