After spending 2 hours getting her nails done, my girlfriend came home traumatised. Not only did the nails procedure take 4x too long; the salon, equipment and filing tools were dangerous, filthy and unhygienic. The nail dryer had exposed diy wires which were sparking while my girlfriend had her fingers inside the machine. At one point the machine fried itself and they had to rewire it. Two of the nails came out four times each while she was polishing them and she accidentally bumped the paint off her fingers at least 20 times and had to redo it! This dragged out the process and my girlfriend was struggling to stay awake, even dozing off a few times. (It was 11pm-1am) Not only this, the staff chain smoked cigarettes the entire time, subjecting my girlfriend to endure 2 hours of toxic haze. She returned smelling more putrid than anyone I’ve smelt in years - worse than if she spent a night in a bar. She felt bad about reviewing, but I don’t. The final nail job made my girlfriend realise she could do it better herself, she gave the final result of her nails a sloppy 4/10 as there were hairs stuck in the paint and it wasn’t symmetrical or anywhere near perfect. Maybe she’s better at haircuts, apparently a client returned with positive feedback about their previous cut. There were also a couple of other workers there, so maybe another one would do a better job. Main takeaway is the price was the same as a top quality salon - we would suggest avoiding this experience if you value your time, money, hygiene and sanity.
