I came in for a 300 lire shave that was offered in the street outside the shop. Once they have you in the chair they keep suggesting little things to add on without telling you the price .... my bill was 12000!!! I got 4000 back after threatening to go to the police. Another tourist was also experiencing the same problem. .... they are thieves.

I got a haircut here today and unfortunately it was a very bad experience. First, my hair was cut unevenly by someone who later turned out not to be a professional hairdresser. After that, an actual hairdresser had to take over and fix the haircut, which meant I ended up sitting in the chair for an extra hour. I was initially told the price would be 850 TL, but in the end the bill was 2750 TL due to various “extra services” they claimed to have performed. Very unprofessional and very misleading pricing. I would recommend others to be very careful or avoid this place.

I was disappointed with the lack of pricing transparency at this salon. The service itself was 5,100 (local currency), but I was then charged almost an additional 1,300 just for using a credit card. This ~30% surcharge was never disclosed in advance. Based on my research, banks do not charge anywhere near 30% for card transactions, so this fee should have been clearly communicated before the service, not added afterward. Additionally, I was explicitly told that hair washing would not be charged since I was doing a protein hair treatment, yet it was still added to the final bill. The treatment itself was fine, but unexpected charges and inconsistent information seriously affected my experience. I recommend confirming all prices, card fees, and what is included before agreeing to any service.

Hairdresser located at Divan Yolu Cd. No:25, Sultanahmet. I was invited in and quoted 400 TL for a service. After the service, I was told the price was 14,000 TL, with pressure to pay. I disputed this and eventually paid 1,100 TL, but there was no clear pricing displayed and the final amount was completely different from what was agreed beforehand. Leaving this review to warn others to confirm prices in writing before agreeing to any service.
